I know what you're thinking..."Leah, school hasn't even ended and you're already talking about next year?" Summer is right around the corner, and while every one of you may be looking forward to lazy days on the lake, bbqs in the backyard, or going on a family vacation, Zion will be hard at work. A lot of great things are happening at Zion this summer and pretty cool changes are happening as well. Changes that should make Zion better than ever. In this recurring Blog series, we take a look at 5 reasons to get excited about next year.
Reason #4: Variable Tuition
Think you can't afford quality private school education? Think again because Zion has just made it easier than ever! At Zion, we have always worked very hard to keep our tuition as low as possible. Because of the generosity of our amazing congregation, along with support from alumni, friends, church organizations, and Zion's Education League, we have been able to provide state of the art education, specialized and individualized for each student, at a very competitive price.
But we want to do more. That's why, starting in the fall of 2018, Zion has partnered with TADs to provide an innovative way for both new and returning families to make Zion even more affordable. Think of it as specialized and individualized tuition!
Zion knows that every family is different and it is these differences that make for a very special and unique learning environment. We don't force our 1st grade students to complete 1st grade level math and reading if they are ready for 2nd grade level material (just ask Mrs. Moen). We didn't want to do that to our families either.
Variable Tuition is a tuition program similar to those used by many private schools, colleges, and universities. This program allows families (if they choose) to apply for a tuition figure that is right for their families' unique financial situation. Based on a confidential financial profile submitted online to TADs, Zion will be able to structure a unique tuition for you.
Zion believes that education is not a "one size fits all" idea but an individualized approach to help each student succeed. We believe tuition should be the same.
Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available. We will keep you posted. Until then, direct any questions to the office.
