Volunteer Opportunities

Zion Education League
  • Positions on the Board
    • Periodically, positions will become available for new members, announcements will be sent out when these positions become available.  Individuals must have students enrolled in Zion to be considered.

​Recycling
  • Zion relies on volunteers to help with recycling for the school and church.  Participants are asked cover one month of recycling duties which would require a minimum of two separate emptying days throughout the month (i.e. 1st/3rd weeks or 2nd/4th weeks). If you are interested in helping with this task, please contact the office and your name will be added to our list.

Fundraisers
  • Scrip Table:  Help Zion earn money for the school by join or roster of scrip sellers.  After church each Sunday, a volunteer is responsible for setting up our "Scrip Table" and selling gift cards to individuals in the congregation.  Contact the office if you are interested in joining our group.
  • Salt Fundraiser:  Each fall, Zion holds a softener salt fundraiser for area families and businesses.  We hope that you will volunteer your time to help your child sell some salt to family, friends, and neighbors.
  • Heggie's Pizza Fundraiser:  Each winter, Zion holds a Heggie's pizza fundraiser.  We hope that you will volunteer your time to help your child sell some delicious pizzas to family, friends, and neighbors.
  • Gerten's Flowers Fundraiser:  Each Spring, Zion holds a Gerten's flower fundraiser.  We hope that you will volunteer your time to help your child sell some flowers to family, friends, and neighbors.
