Theater
Zion takes great pride in their theater performances. Whether students are performing to a packed church on Christmas Eve, or to family and friends during their spring plays, Zion students are giving every opportunity to strength their acting chops and improve their comfort level of being up in front of people.
Along with classroom dramatic activities (readers' theaters, short plays, etc.) Students have the opportunity to participate in three dramatic activities yearly. The Christmas Eve program which is presented by students in kindergarten through 8th grade. We have two spring plays, one is presented by our 1st-4th grade students and the other is presented by our 5th through 8th grade students. In all productions students are required to memorize lines, deliver them in an audible manner with feeling and emotion, and work well with directors and other performers.
