Zion competes with area schools in interscholastic sports. Cross-country, volleyball, basketball, and track and field are engaged in on a competitive basis. Please note that every effort is made to provide activities for students. Based on enrollment numbers, we
may co-op with an area school to fill a team.

Basketball

We have a 5th and 6th grade team for both boys and girls and we have a 7th and 8th grade team for both boys and girls. They both would have several practices a week and participate in 8 – 12 games. The 5th and 6th grade basketball season November-December and the 7th and 8th grade season is January -February. They also would play in a few tournaments throughout the year. The boys 7th and 8th grade team would have a year end tournament at Mayer Lutheran where they would have the chance to qualify for state,
